Thank you for your interest in Leadership Lafayette! Applications for the 2024 Leadership Lafayette program are now open.
As the Leadership Institute of Acadiana’s flagship program, Leadership Lafayette has become a community institution that boasts many of our region’s distinguished leaders as graduates. If selected, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the history, critical challenges and current assets of our community and consider the implications for the future while building relationships with cross-generational leaders and peers.
Leadership Lafayette applications are due no later than 5:00 pm on Friday, November 17, 2023.
Candidates will be notified by email of their selection status during the week of December 17-23.

Application Checklist
- Read through the full application and dedicate time to respond to the essay questions.
- Download the commitment statement. Review the policies, sign, and get your employer’s signature. Full support from your employer is a program requirement.
- If applicable, complete the tuition assistance request form.
